Beautiful vintage two piece fashion doll costume made of delicious plum velvet with matching cording and lace accents, including fine lawn under-cuff accents which are attached. Bodice closes in back with hooks and thread loops.

This is vintage, beautifully made likely in the 1940-1960 era, from antique fabrics. Princess seaming detail, shaped sleeves, neckline darts, and shapely bodice hem add to the authentic details of the costume which is in the style of late 1870s through mid 1880s period gowns without bustles.

Measurements: Bodice across shoulders 7-1/2"; bust 14"; waist 12-3/8"; neck opening 11"; center front length 6". Skirt waist 11" (with room for expansion); front length 16-1/4".

Condition: Excellent; no tears, stains, or fading.
