Fabulous early doll bonnet, c1860 or earlier, known as "Deux Bonjours" of museum quality, hand made from straw and embellished with red wool, brown velvet, and and straw soutache braid. Perfect for your small French Fashion or French Papier Mache, Andreas Voit, or other early French r German doll or for your collection of French Fashion doll accessories.
Outstanding quality and design and exquisite workmanship in the tiny bonnet which measures about 3" front to back and 2" side to side (measured flat across brim to brim); 9-1/2" outer circumference and 4-1/2" inner circumference. Excellent condition with minor age darkening but no breaks, holes or tears.
