Final Offering Sale Price ~ Wonderful early cotton factory doll dress, circa 1890-1900, with detachable bib collar with lavish lace trim.

Dress has bloused top and skirt with tatted lace edging, no back fasteners as was the custom with the early factory made clothing.

Dress measures 12-1/2” long from shoulder to hem; 5” across the shoulders between sleeve seams; 6” across the chest just under the sleeves.

Condition excellent with one tiny and neat mend on the skirt, which I didn't even notice until holding it up to the light.

Freshly laundered and bright as new. We have shown photos of the dress before we laundered it to show that it only had age darkening which was easily cleaned in our gentle conservation soak.

Lovely dress of the type often found on the higher end early Kestner and Simon & Halbig dolls.
