Gorgeous set of wedding shoes and silk stockings in cream color with silk ribbon binding and decoration with central metal florets.

Soles are hard with an incised "6" at each toe.

Cream silk stockings are individually knit and do not have any stitched seams. See close-ups for the extremely fine detail that went into the making of these stockings. We have freshly laundered the stockings in our conservation wash and they came out beautifully. Not the museum numbering inked on the soles did not come out in the soak.

Shoes measure 2-7/8" long and 1-1/8" wide at the ball of the foot. Stockings are 2" long at the foot (will stretch), and 3" long from heel to top.

Excellent condition. Socks have a museum numbering mark on them which did not come out. It is on the sole of the sock, which would not show when worn.
