Final Offering Sale Price ~ Greek Evzones (Soldier) doll 9" tall, with cloth body and cloth hand-painted mask face wearing the official uniform of the Green Royal Guards.

This costume represents the 1880s and includes the white pleated wool kilt known as foustanella, the waistcoat embroidered with gold thread, the wide sleeved shirt, the red hat with tassel, the cartridge belt, and the tsarouchia or traditional red shoes with pompoms.

Condition: Mint; no damage, staining, or display soil. The doll was purchased out of an estate and had been stored in a trunk, likely since new.
