Final Offering Sale Price ~ Finest porcelain shoulder head doll, 14-1/2" tall, circa 1850, with exceptional decoration including black lash lines, red lid lines, shaded blue eyes with white highlights, accented nostrils and eye corners, separated lips in slight smile, painted black pate on her solid dome head. Original blonde fancy human hair wig.

Her silk skirt and fine lawn blouse are stitched on, so we have not fully inspected the cloth body. What we can see appears to be very solidly stuffed with sawdust and we do not detect any leaks or problems.

Her costume is flattering and lovely and includes layers of antique undergarments, wool stockings, and leather flat-soled boots. She has a little lace miser purse pinned to her waist.

Excellent condition: no chips, cracks, or repairs to the china. Please note that there are no cheek rubs on the doll. White spots showing in photos is glare and does not appear on the actual doll.
