SOLD Early German Frozen Charlotte Pink Tint Covered Wagon Style

Early German all china ‘Bathing Doll’ known as ‘Badekinder’ and dubbed “Frozen Charlotte / Frozen Charlie” by collectors.

One piece glazed porcelain doll, in a larger 3-3/4” tall size, has an overall pink tint and a hairstyle similar to the "Covered Wagon Hairstyle" chinas.

She has very well defined features and exceptional facial painting details including black lash lines, red lid lines, accented nostrils, eye corners, and lips. Her shaded blue eyes are upward glancing.

Note the deep modeling of the body with fat rolls, along with indentation for navel.

Exceptional little Charlotte is of superior quality.

Condition: Excellent; no chips, cracks, or repairs. She has one paint rub on the top right of her head which is typical and does not detract.
