Straw bonnet has an intricately woven base of woven straw. I've shown close-ups of the woven straw both inside and outside so you can see the detail. The bonnet is decorated with velvet and paper flowers in red, yellow, blue, and white and there is an Azure blue ribbon around the bonnet with streamers down the back. Inside measurement where it fits the head is 12"; outside brim circumference is 20" No damage or repair is noted.

On first glance, this bonnet appears to be a straw hat, however upon closer inspection, it is really a crocheted hat, which has been stiffened so that it even feels like straw. Lovely hat has real dried flower decorations and a green velvet ribbon band with streamers down the back. Measurements: 12" inner circumference and 19-1/2" outer circumference.

Four straw doll bonnets in similar styles. The two bonnets with colored straw will fit a doll head about 10" - 11" in circumference. The two plainer straw bonnets will fit a doll head 12" - 13" in circumference. All four hats are made to sit back on the head, with the brim framing the upper part of the head. All hats in excellent condition with no broken straw.

Excellent antique doll bonnet in a subdued shade of green. The straw has a very fancy weave to it and the hat is in excellent condition with no chips or breaks in the straw. Measurements: 9-1/2" inner circumference; 25" outer circumference; 8" measured straight across the center brim to brim.

Final Offering Sale Price ~ Gorgeous early hat for a French Fashion doll is made of burgundy velvet and silk and is lined in tan polished cotton. Entirely hand stitched and from the early collection of Maureen Popp. Hat measures 10" in circumference and would fit a larger French Fashion doll. Excellent condition with some deterioration to the wine colored silk as shown. Estimated circa 1870.

Beautiful deep black silk velvet hat with deep royal purple velvet ribbons and black silk moire ribbons with watermark stripes. Bonnet is wired, completely lined, and has velvet ribbon ties. Black sequined wires also embellish the front. Hat measures 20" around the wired edge and should fit a large doll or bebe about 28 - 36" tall. Condition is excellent with minor wear to the velvet edges.
