Three strands of silver and artist lampwork in aqua and blue tones. Beautiful square pillow beads from the artists at Glass Baker are featured on this piece. Three squares are just fabulous in tones of golds, blues and greens. The inner core uses these colors swirled to the center and then encased in clear. The colors and patterns reminded me of peacock feathers, hence the name! Two additional beads from these artists are in a subtle frosted aqua blue, a perfect compliment to the peacock colors. Added in are round artist boro beads in the same teal blue core, also encased in clear. These beads are so spectacular, I wanted to see them in a composition that was open to really focus attention to them. So, the beads are all suspended on sterling silver plated cable and are accented with sterling silver. Sterling accents include hammered rondelles and hammered square pillow beads to pick up the shape of the lampwork. I think it really is a stunning piece that can be worn draped, or twisted for a little different look. This piece can be adjusted from 14" to 18" using the sterling silver extension chain.
