What an incredible square focal bead!!! Kristan Child with Redside Designs is one of my very favorite artists! A perfect square - perfect as a focal bead on a bracelet. The bead has a wonderful dimension to it, nice and "puffy", and the colored "bumpies" added to the top add extra dimension!! In keeping with the colorations she does so well, the background is a deep amber with the oranges, purples, lavenders, and clear throughout the top. The four corner beads are clear. This is really a wonderful and unique piece of art! I combined it with some additional boro beads from Kristan in the same color palette. Four encased beads, two in a swirl mix of the focal beads, and two that pick up just the teal and green. And, I just love the two ruffle beads next to the focal! Two Karen Hill Tribe "noodles" form the foundation for the bracelet, and sterling silver round and melon beads were added - larger beads at the pivot points on the noodles, and smaller accent beads. This 7 1/2" bracelet closes with a Hill Tribe sterling silver toggle.

Care instructions: The lampwork is kiln annealed for strength. Just polish with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals or abrasives, please! Keep your sterling in a baggie with a bit of cotton or silica bags to slow down the tarnishing process!
