Be still my heart, this is the most gorgeous butterfly brooch ever, and I've never seen one like this in such a large size! Done in sterling vermeil filigree with gorgeous blue/green plique-a-jour enameling. The wings are adorned with lapis cabochons, I believe they are genuine and not glass. The body of the butterfly is enameled in pinks, purple, and greens. A little pearl dangles below. This piece is in excellent condition, there is one tiny spot of Plique-a -jour missing, but I believe it is original to the piece. The mark is very difficult to make out, but I believe it reads 800S. Measures an impressive 2 7/8" x 3 3/18".
