This is a very special piece, it’s one of the few very large headvases and also the only gigantic teenager with a hand.

Hard to find in excellent condition, has no chips, no cracks, all the colors and 24KT gold highlights on her ruffle are intact. Has very faint crazing, hard to see unless looking very close, with a magnifying glass and under strong light. I would think quite unusual, considering her size and the nature of the material.

Incised in the pottery on the bottom Relpo # 1678, also stamped Relpo # 1678 Japan and has the foil Relpo label....I guess Relpo wanted to make sure everyone knows forever this was one of their models.

This one is definitely a standout piece, whether amongst other ladies or by herself.
