Wonderful VERY H.T.F. EARLY CALIFORNIA Josef Originals MANON W/Puppy From the Pedestal Girls Figurine

There is a special warm look to the models that were created and made in California preceding the later ones made in japan. Warmth couldn’t get any closer to hot, to remain warm, with this absolutely charming little lady holding her adorable puppy.

The pedestal girls are unique as they are the only models in the whole Josef collection that are designed with a pedestal.

As with several Josef models, the detailing is just amazing. All the delicate hand applied detailing is just outstanding and as they were applied by hand, each little doll is perfectly unique.

Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks. The color tones are beautiful tones of pink, from pastel to rich, all the generous 24KT gold decorations are bright and intact, the ones in high relief, add so much dimension and sculpture. Crazing is expected on this early pieces, I can’t see any anywhere except some clean normal and superficial on the underside of her dress.

Measures 6" in height, is incised on the bottom with the Josef Originals, it is also stamped with the Josef Originals Logo. This is not only a hard to find piece in her own right, but these gals in general are very hard to find in great condition, this particular piece is as Mint as they come.

This a beautiful series to collect, all the little gals have personalities of their own and they truly make an amazing display.
