From the 1940s comes this Bienen Davis Black Suede Handbag. This is designed in Black Suede with a 2-Black Bead Ball Closure. It has a double strap suede handle with findings of gold-plated base metal. The inside has an attached chain purse and 3 side compartments, 1 of which is zippered. The Handbag measures 9"Wide x 8 3/4"Long x 1 1/4"Deep. The entirety of the Handle measures 15 3/4"Long. This Handbag is in Fine condition, showing only minor wear. ENJOY This Piece Of The Past!

BIENEN-DAVIS Company was located at 159 Madison Avenue, New York 16, NY. The cover of the July 1935 issue of Luggage & Leather Goods features photographs of "leading style authorities" for Fall 1935, including Edwin Davis, co-founder of Bienen-Davis Handbags.
