American Character “Puggy” Composition Doll

This 13 inch tall doll, circa 1929, was created by the American Character Doll Company of New York City. The little guy has such an attitude and such personality I just can’t ever resist the mold. This doll is in excellent original condition with no repaint or repair. There is virtually no crazing to the composition and he stills retains the original blushing to his plumb little knees and elbows. He has painted facial features and hair. This doll has replaced, but quite appropriate, clothing including a red plaid flannel shirt and Lee blue jeans. He is just spoiling for a fight so please don’t get him riled about his replaced clothing!! He is a doll that is guaranteed to make you smile every time you glance at his pugnacious expression. He is marked in raised lettering on his back, “A Petite Doll.”
