Effanbee Patsy Jr. Composition Doll

This 11 inch tall doll was created by the Effanbee Doll Company of New York City circa 1930. She is all composition with a five piece body jointed at the shoulders, hips, and neck. Patsy has brown molded and painted hair, brown painted eyes and a closed mouth. She retains her original light pink organdy dress with attached panties. I believe her shoes are also original to her. She still has her metal Effanbee heart bracelet that reads, “Effanbee Patsy kin.” She is in good condition with only slight crazing to the head, some short cracks at the neck opening, and small areas of paint loss to body. Her condition seems quite stable. I believe my photos show these minor condition flaws. Because she had some slight wear to the toes of her feet, someone, in the past, has painted the ends of her feet. With her shoes on, this is hidden from view. There is no other repaint to the doll. She is marked on the back of her torso in raised lettering: EFFANBEE//Patsy Jr//Doll. She is a sweet little doll with great originality offered at a price well under book value.
