German Parian Type Untinted Bisque Alice Hairstyle Doll

This 21 ½ inch tall untinted bisque shoulder head doll is just fabulous. She has molded and painted features and blonde hair with a black painted headband. Her delicately sculpted ears are exposed and she has beautifully painted blue eyes. Her old cotton twill cloth body, with individually stitched fingers, is perfectly proportioned for her head. She wears old brown knit stockings but does not have any shoes. She wears s white cotton petticoat and a white cotton lawn dress edged in lace and eyelet embroidery. Her skirt is pink cotton. This doll was obviously one of the first out of the mold as her features are deeply sculpted and delineated. She has no chips, cracks, or repairs to her beautiful shoulder head.These elegant dolls were created in Germany circa the mid to late 1800s. This particular doll is a superb example with a charming and peaceful Mona Lisa type smile that will certainly win your heart.
