Frozen Charlotte with Blue Bow Ties and Gold Luster Shoes

This 4 inch Frozen Charlotte, also called a bathing doll or badkinder, has black painted and molded hair and painted features. She also has blue painted bows at her knees and gold luster shoes. The gold has somewhat worn away from her feet. She is glazed on all parts of her body except for her back from the neck to the hips. She obviously has never had a glaze finish in this area. This young lady’s arms are rather simply molded with not much delineation of the hands. She has no chips or cracks but does have some typical black flecks fired into her porcelain. She is a nice heavy example of an early German Frozen Charlotte.
