This 3 ¼ inch pink tint china frozen Charlotte has a covered wagon hair style and a darling little chubby body. The painting on the face is delicately and artistically done. On the bottom of one foot, the number 2 has been painted. The doll has no chips or cracks. The hair is painted black and the back of the head is flat. It appears that this is original to the doll and not a break that has been repaired. There is some slight paint wear to the black hair painting. Under black light, there appears to be some restoration to this little miss. In one of the pictures, I believe you can see some paint irregularity on the back shoulder area. I was so enchanted by this rather rare and charming early style frozen Charlotte that the possibility of an old repair/restoration really didn’t bother me. The close up pictures may show you some possible areas of restoration but, in person, when you are not inspecting her under a microscope, so to speak, she is wonderful. I am pricing this doll to reflect restoration and believe that someone else out there will also treasure her just as she is.
