This 11 1/2" tall, felt, fully jointed doll with hand painted features is an exquisite example of the art of American doll maker R. John Wright. Cole is the first in a series of children for the Wright Collectors Club. He wears a hand-knotted mohair wig with a wool felt costume. Cole holds a custom-printed "Humpty Dumpty" cloth toy that is a treasure in its own right. This Collectors Club Edition is a bargain at its retail price which is much lower than the typical Wright production. We are an authorized R. John Wright dealer and have only one of Cole left. The buyer will have first refusal on the Second Issue of the series - Milly. She may be viewed on the R. John Wright website. Cole was released in 2005.
