LAYAWAY This is a mint example of the traditional Russian Tea cozy in doll form made from 1900 to the present. This 18” doll is from before 1935 as it is marked Made in the Soviet Union, a description that was changed to USSR in 1935. She has bright color and a character face with blonde floss hair. She wears the traditional folk costume of European Russia with the white long sleeved blouse and lovely flowered skirt. She was one of the “stars” of my Russian cloth collection.
