SALE PRICE REDUCED - WONDERFUL ACCESSORY Rare early Steiff dog,on wheels circa 1915 Russet brown felt flannel dachshund posed with head upright. He has brown glass eyes, pointy nose, original black embroidered nose tip, upright tail, intricate construction detail, posed on cast iron rods attached to wooden wheels that were originally red. He is straw stuffed. Fair condition, some felt patching, ears and tail replaced. Despite his replaced parts, he is a charming early Steiff dog and displays well with dolls. He is shown here being ridden by a Gre-Poir cloth boy who is sold separately. His price reflects his condition and he is a good buy for such an early Steiff on wheels.
