He is a 1986 Steiff Teddy clown replica from 1926. It is a limited edition of 10,000. It has EAN 0170/32. It is in mint condition. He is 16 inches tall. His secondary market price in Steiff price guides is $450. - so he is quite a deal!

I love the Steiff clowns to display with my dolls. My yellow clown like this stands with a Jumeau in a red dress. I would not part with him. The "old" ones sell for 5 to 10,000. so I am happy to settle for the replicas that are made from the same patterns and with the same precision and quality. This lovely yellow and red little guy is one of my favorites.
