American antique handquilted double bed sized (72 in X 92 in) Lotus quilt, 1930's. Each block has the same design, a hand embroidered lotus (water lily). Sashing is 1930's solid blue. In excellent, clean, crisp and beautiful condition. Back is white, quilting design is concentric circles from the block corners, criss cross in sashing. Each block measures about 10 1/4 in square. From Ohio.
