Four Strand Chinese Turquoise Necklace

This extravagant necklace would be spectacular on a tall, striking woman, because it is chunky, bold and heavy. It measures 20" when strands are loose, and 18" when the four strands are twisted to make a more solid choker.

The four strands consist of: 1. Oval natural turquoise beads (untreated and not enhanced) with webbing, interspersed with spiral sterling silver separators. 2. Natural turquoise nuggets, untreated and not enhanced). 3. Large oval Chinese turquoise beads, untreated and not enhanced), with small round beads and yellow-green chips. 4. Natural large quartz nuggets, in amethyst, carnelian, smoky quartz, clear quartz, etc.

The four strands are strung on heavy steel cable on to a sterling silver twin clasp with a looping hook. The clasp was not stamped .925 but was purchased from a legitimate dealer at the Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson, Arizona.

Would look good on a mock turtleneck.
