SALE Brooch Dazzling Blue Rhinestones Lit From Within

This splendid vintage brooch features most unusual intense blue rhinestones that appear to be lit up inside. They look like cobalt blue, but with splashes of beautiful bright peacock blue lights bouncing off bottom facets. According to Ann Mitchell Pitman's book Inside the Jewelry Box Vol. 2 page 150, aurora borealis foiling is the source of the light within this spectacular type of blue rhinestone. We have another piece listed that features this same kind of rhinestone (a necklace by Zoe Coste with blue rhinestone hearts).

This brooch is created with lacy layers of bright goldtone filigree, prong-set with the aforementioned lit-up blue rhinestones, mostly navettes. The layers are joined firmly together from the back with rivets. The filigreed back is antiqued. The brooch measures 2 1/4" by 1 1/2".

Superb condition. In fact, we can find no problems at all.
