We have been selling quality costume jewelry off and on for about 35 years, originally in our gift shop on a Pacific island and now only on Ruby Lane from our Texas location

My husband and I regularly acquire beautiful and unusual vintage costume jewelry pieces that we add to our listings as time permits, so please check back with us from time to time.

I'd like to share a bit of my business history with you. I first became interested in vintage costume jewelry in the 1970's when I used to make buying trips to the U.S. to buy for our retail and wholesale businesses on a Pacific Island. I would always include Providence, Rhode Island to buy costume jewelry. It was very interesting to watch the manufacture of costume jewelry and talk to the owners and workers. That was when I started to learn a great deal about the manufacture and styles of costume jewelry.

It was especially interesting to be buying costume jewelry in Providence at THAT time because many of the costume jewelry plants "went under" in the Seventies and their stock from the Sixties and Seventies became available at bankruptcy prices all over Providence, continuing to be available for years..

I'm now using the Knowledge and experience I gained then to benefit our present venture of buying and selling vintage costume jewelry. When I can. I'll try to share that knowledge in my item descriptions.
