Wow..this is Such a Rare and Beautiful Vintage Ivory Scrimshaw Ship Whale Scene Sterling Silver Ring!:o) The Base Mounting Was Hand Crafted and Made up of Sterling Silver(Since There Is No Sterling Mark Present, This Ring Has Been Acid Tested by My Local Jeweler as Sterling Silver and Guaranteed as Such), With a Thick 3 Ribbed Band. From the Early 1950's Era. The Huge Oval Shaped Natural Ivory Center Measures 1 3/4" Tall by over 5/8" Wide by 3/8" Thick Or Deep! The Total Ring Measurements are 1 1/2" Tall by nearly 1" Wide. This Rare Chunky Ring is a Size 10,,,and Can Be Worn by Both Male or Female. It is in Excellent Vintage Condition:O) Enjoy.
