A large (about 15mm tall) faceted, translucent amethyst is wrapped in a gold-filled wire setting that enhances the beauty of the stone. The integrated bail is large enough to fit on omegas or leather straps.

This pendant measures about 2 1/2" x 1" wide. I have included a 16" gold-filled chain.

Now for a little fun, pulled from a "Metaphysical and Healing" site: Amethyst has long been called the "sobriety stone". It is said to assist with healing alcoholism, compulsive behaviors, and addictions of all kinds (except the addition to jewelry, which it enhances, I hope). Amethyst brings energies of stability, peace, calm, balance, courage and inner strength.
