22K Gold Drusy on a black agate stone... creates a beautiful and striking contrast for this pair of gold-filled wire-wrapped earrings!

Earrings are wrapped with gold-filled square wire. The stones each measure about 7/8" x 1/4". The earrings measure about 1 5/8" from the top of the ear-wires (gold-filled).

Drusy is a gemstone with natural surface textured similar to fine sugar crystals. Drusy is created by the phenomena of micro-crystalline facets forming on a gem and the surrounding rock. Gold Drusy usually has an agate host matrix underneath,that is coated using high karat gold that is deposited on the crystals using a vapor deposition process.
