SOLD "Dragonfly Magic" Pure Silver and 22kt Gold Artisan Pendant

Another of my leaf/dragonfly creations (each one is unique... but it's a theme that I keep coming back to because I love it)...

This leaf came from my back yard. It was coated from the back with pure (.999) silver... about 30 times, drying totally between coats. The leaf was then kiln-fired, which burned off the leaf, leaving the gorgeous detailed texture.

I then added a silver dragonfly, which I coated in 22kt gold (multiple coats, for a richer finish).

I added a long, straight pure silver back-connecting bail for security, and an 18" gold-filled chain (this piece will look good with either a silver or gold chain).

This piece weighs about 10 grams (without the chain), of pure silver and 22kt gold. The pendant measures about 2 1/4" tall by 1 1/4" wide. (I have another leaf/dragonfly pendant listed that is larger and twice the weight, if you prefer heavier pieces).

This is a one-of-a-kind piece... the leaf was not created from a mold (nor molded), so it can't be repeated.

I finished the piece by adding a patina with liver-of-sulfur... which resulted in some nice blue/green/aqua/gold colors that add to the organic feel of this piece.
