"Swarovski Stunner" - Garnet and Crystal Shield Necklace

Dripping and dropping... Dripping in Swarovski crystals (clear aurora borealis - reflecting many colors)... dropping in Garnet briolettes and beads...

First, I used right-angle weave to create a Swarovski "V" (with garnet-colored delica beads at the center of each cross)... added garnet beads and garnet briolettes at the bottom of each of the 9 bottom points... then I created 4 graduated "swags" across the front, with garnet and crystal - each with a garnet briolette... then I added the necklace part, mixing in some garnet tube beads for a little added interest.

This one will attract attention! I used high-quality garnets... and of course, ONLY Swarovski (is there any other crystal?)...

The neck opening measures 18.5", and the piece has a magnetic clasp. The body of this piece measures about 2.5" wide by about 4" long... in a "V" shape (like a Swarovski shield)!

This is Holly's one-of-a-kind original.
