Vintage 18K Gold & Diamond Flower Brooch

This is a custom designed piece for sure and it is very unlikely that another like it exists anywhere. Five layers of zig-zag edged petals with a 3/4 carat diamond center and 18K white gold stems inset with another 1.15 carats of pave set diamonds give this brooch is amazing look. It is quite a bit of gold and it’s total weight is 56.7 grams. The flower is 2.25 inches wide by 2 inches high and its entire is just over 3 inches. The brooch has a double straight pin closure that is typical for vintage brooches of this quality and weight. One end of the pin fits into a slide ring closure.

The details regarding the composition of the brooch were provided through professional testing and appraisal. There are, however, two marks on the piece, one an engraved 18K and the other the word, or name, PEARL as can be seen in the photo of the area of the pin where these are found.
