A very common and important tool before and during World War II when people actually repaired their socks. Six varying sizes and colors of wooden darning eggs. The dark brown one on the left is 5 1/2 inches long, the little yellow one is 4 1/4 inches, the largest white one is 5 3/4 inches, the small white one is 4 1/4 inches, the large brown one is 7 1/2 inches and the black one on the far right is 5 3/4 inches. These would be pretty much all you would need to darn the socks of everyone in the family!
