Here is a lady a little down on her luck, but still fetching! The pretty glazed pottery face is mounted on a wood backing and trimmed with a dark wig and a small hat of metallic silver soutache braid and iridescent green sequins. The face is lovingly painted, with closed eyes; thin, arched brows; and ruby red lips.

Pin measures 2 ½” long by 1 ½” across by ½” deep. Her lip paint has some wear, as does the eyebrows, and there is a tiny smudge on the end of her nose. Face over all has light crazing, which is pretty usual with these pieces. Her hair is a bit worn on one side, and she has lost some of the green sequins. The metal pin back is securely glued on and works well, but the pin stem is slightly bent. Over all, she is in good vintage condition.
