Vendome Faux Pearl & Clear Rhinestone Wreath Brooch Pin

This pretty artificial pearl and clear rhinestone brooch is by Vendome. Vendome was one of the higher end lines for Coro and was deservedly well-known for its necklaces. This is the first brooch with that name that I"ve found. Faux pearls are interspersed with clear rhinestones and set in an open circle of silver tone metal. There is a little rosette and spray of clear navette rhinestones and faux pearls for accent. Lovely and demure!

Measurements: a little over 1 ¾" north-south by 1 ¾" east-west. Depth is ¼". The large pearls are ¼" in diameter. The pearls are in very good to excellent condition with very little wear. The rhinestones are showing their age a bit but still bright and sparkly. Pearls are glued-in, rhinestones are prong-set. There is a bit of wear to the metal on the back. The pin stem and safety clasp are in very good working condition. There is a bit of yellowed glue on the backs of a couple of pearls--not noticeable when worn. Marked "VENDOME" preceded by a copyright symbol in a rectangular cartouche. This brooch is in good vintage condition.
