What a find! You don’t see many Eisenberg Original Sterling brooches like this, in wonderful condition AND in the original box! Dated between 1943 and 1948 by an Eisenberg expert, this brooch resembles a loose bouquet of gold-washed sterling leaves and stems. It is studded along the outer edge with large faceted open-backed aqua rhinestone "flowers." Rows of sparkling clear rhinestones dot some of the stems and leaves for contrast. At the recessed center is a single large oval open-backed aqua rhinestone. It has a standard pin stem and safety closure and is marked Eisenberg Original Sterling and the stone setter's number of 31. It comes in its original dark blue flocked box and dark blue velvet lining with "Eisenberg & Sons Original" in a dark blue rectangle printed on the silver-colored inside lid.

Size of Brooch: 2 ½" east-west by almost 3 ½" north-south. Depth--a little over ¼". Oval center stone is a little over ¼" east-west by a little over ½" north-south. Clear stones are glued in; aqua stones are all prong-set. All stones are present and are in excellent vintage condition; clear stones are bright and sparkling. Marked as shown in photo. The pin stem is very slightly bent and the safety closure very slightly loose but still holds well. This brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

Size of Box: 4 ½" east-west by 4" north-south. Depth--1 1/8". Flocking on outside shows wear and some scuffing. Top of box is no longer attached to the bottom. Inside of the box is in much better condition, with the velvet lining in very good shape. The box is in fair (outside) to very good (inside) condition.
