Here's a perky pachyderm with the look of Hattie Carnegie at a fraction of the price. A darned close copy of one of Carnegie's sought-after Primitives pins, this fellow has a dusty pink head and avocado green legs and tummy of thermoplastic. His fanned ear and tail are of brushed gold tone metal, as is the "blanket" on his back. The blanket and tail are accentuated with tiny round clear rhinestones, and he has a bright red rhinestone eye in a fancy scallop-edged setting.

Length east-west is 1 ¾". Height north-south is 1 ½". Depth is just under ½". The pin stem has been replaced by a jeweler and it and the catch are in good working order. There is a spot of discoloration to the brushed gold-tone metal on the back. The plastic pieces each have a small "rubbed" area that is not distracting. All stones are glued-in, present, and in good condition. This pin is in very good vintage condition.
