Large artificial baroque pearls make up this simple, yet dramatic, necklace. The pearls are marvelously irregular in shape and slightly creamy in color. I believe they are glass, as the necklace has a good weight to it. There is no clasp—it’s meant to be slipped over the head and worn as a single strand. Imagine it with a little black dress!

Necklace measures 14-15” when worn (32” total length), with the pearls being approximately 15mm by 10mm. Pearls are hand-knotted on what appears to be white string. There is a very slight give (about 1-2mm) in the string, which appears to be in otherwise good, strong condition. I can detect no flaking or discoloration of the pearls. This piece is in very good to excellent vintage condition.
