Classy Vendome Earrings---Gold-Tone & Clear Rhinestone Half Hoops

These handsome clip earrings are by Vendome. Textured gold-tone metal is fashioned into a graduated, pear-shaped half hoop studded with four clear chatons and four clear emerald-cut rhinestones. The backs are the combination screw-back/clip mechanisms so the tension can be adjusted to the individual's comfort. Sleek and elegant!

Earrings measure 1" north-south by just under ½" east-west. The emerald-shaped rhinestones are ¼" east-west by just under ¼" north-south. Both earrings are marked "VENDOME" preceded by a copyright symbol. The screw-back mechanisms are marked "Pat No. 3,176,475." The chaton rhinestones are a little cloudy but still sparkle. The emerald-shaped stones are brilliant and open-back. All stones are glued-in. One emerald-shaped stone is slightly crooked in its setting, probably from time of manufacture. The metal is in excellent condition. I regard these earrings to be in very good to excellent vintage condition.
