These pretty screw-on earrings are marked "STER" on the backs. They depict a couple (he with top hat, frock coat, and a cane, she in a wide skirt and scarf) leaning towards each other. She looks to be straightening his tie or folding down his coat collar! The figures are in relief with a crosshatch-textured background. A row of relief forget-me-nots encircling the rims completes the romantic theme.

Diameter--3/4". Screw-backs are in good working condition. I have polished the earrings lightly. The backs could use more polishing, which I will leave up to the new owner. These earrings are in very good vintage condition.
