Easy to wear, with ethnic flair! This beautiful 3-piece set from Trifari puts me in mind of some of the designs of Kunio Matsumoto; these do not bear his mark, but I believe they are from roughly the same time period (1970s). All have the Trifari mark with a crown over the T followed by a copyright symbol. The choker, clip earrings, and ring all feature Lucite in a mellow ivory color set into shiny gold-tone metal embossed with a flower and leaf design. Very earthy and elegant!

Choker: Difficult to measure due to construction, but the overall length is about 14”. The central piece is 1 ¾” wide and a little under ½” thick. The spring-ring closure is in good working order. In addition to the cartouche mark, it has the Trifari metal hangtag. There is very little wear to this piece. There is one tiny (less than ¼” long) area on one corner of the plastic piece that is rubbed and slightly dark; this rests against the throat and is not visible when worn. This choker is in very good condition.

Earrings: Half hoops, they measure 1” north-south by ¼” east-west and ¾” front to back. They have clip backs that are in good working condition. Again, there are few signs of wear and they are in very good condition.

Ring: It is approximately a size 6 and has a ring guard built in. The central piece measures 1” north-south by ½” east-west by ¼” thick. The plastic is in very good condition. However, the metal has areas of plate loss (see photos) and the plate on the shank has been rubbed considerably. The ring is in only fair condition; it is included here for the purposes of keeping the set together.
