Hot, hot, hot! This attention-getting necklace and clip earring set is from Western Germany. Four strands of graduated faceted glass givre beads in an unusual red-orange color are interspersed with larger twisted oval and round glass beads. To keep the color scheme from getting monotonous, the strands are accented with eight twisted plastic beads in a soft pearlized pink. Beads are linked on brass headpins. The necklace has a simple gold tone metal hook and beaded extension chain. The earrings are standard clips, with the beads being attached to the back with both wire and thread.

Necklace: Longest strand is 18", not counting closure. Largest beads are 17mm long by 10mm wide. Normal vintage wear on headpins and gold tone metal hook. Marked "M. West Germany" on hook. Earrings: 1" in diameter, 1" deep. Backs are gold tone metal clips. Metal is worn, clips work well. Clip mechanisms are marked "M in W. Germany." This set is in very good vintage condition.
