Finn Jensen Modernist Yellow Guilloche Enamel & Silver Vermeil Brooch Pin & Earrings

This gracefully flowing brooch and earrings set is by Norwegian maker Finn Jensen. Soft butter yellow guilloche enamel is poured over textured gold-washed sterling silver. The playful forms of the brooch and earrings remind me of whale tails! The back of the brooch is gold-washed sterling, as are the clip earrings. This elegant set came to me in a light blue box imprinted with "H.Gams-Haugsoen, Bergen, Norway," which is likely the jewelry store where the set was purchased. It is included with the jewelry.

Brooch--2 ½" east-west by 2" north-south. The brooch is curved to a depth of about ½". It has a curlicued C clasp closure with a tube hinge pin stem, which works fine. Earrings--Just over 1" north-south by 1" east-west. Earrings curve for a depth of about 1/8". The clip backs work fine. All pieces are marked 925S, Sterling, Norway, with the maker's mark for Finn Jensen. Aside from needing a light polishing to the backs, these items are in mint condition and look as though they were never worn.
