Oriental End of the Day Bakelite Perfume Pin 1930s

This is a cute vintage "end of the day" bakelite perfume pin. It is oriental in style, and sometimes called Chinoiserie! There is an ornately carved perfume bottle that hangs for a matching carved bar pin. There is a little chain that originally held a stopper for the bottle. This chain could be removed or the missing stopper could be replaced with a tiny cork stopper or perhaps a bakelite bead of some kind. The colors on the front are mostly black, yellow and orange. The back represents more of the "end of the day" colors. The pin measures 3 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. The pin is a book piece and can be found on page 42 of Bakelite Jewelry by Donna Wassertrom & Leslie Pina 1997. It is said to be from 1935. Please email with any additional questions.
