Large Vintage Rhinestone Celluloid Bakelite Fruit Pin

I have never seen anything like this. This is a vintage pin that consists of rhinestones, celluloid, and bakelite! It is quite large and measures 2 3/8 inches across. The pins bottom layer is a very light piece of translucent lucite or celluloid that is attached to the fruit portion by a tiny screw. The fruit portion appears to be laminated bakelite. The center black portion has a carved indentation with an outer green layer that tests positive for bakelite. All the rhinestones are present and in excellent condition. None of the stones are dulled or dead. The tiny screw has that holds the two pieces together on the back has a tiny bit of rust on it. The pin back is an old 1940's style and is original. There is no damage or flaws. I am not sure what kind of fruit this is. This is a very unique piece!
