18k Art Deco Antique Mine Cut Diamond & Ruby Ring

This is a really neat Art Deco style antique diamond ruby ring. There are 7 square cut Rubies and 6 mine cut diamonds. I believe the ring is Egyptian. There are some hallmarks on the ring that are difficult to make out but appear to be Egyptian. The ring has been tested for gold content and tests positive for 18k and weighs 6.1 grams. The ring is very old and shows some age and wear. If you look closely with a loupe, you can see that there are 2 Rubies with some flea bite chips. The diamonds look roughly cut, perhaps that is the nature for mine cut diamonds. The sizes and shapes appear to vary. There is also some wear to the surface of the prongs. The band has a nice round shape to it and the face of the ring measures 3/4 of an inch long by 1/4 (actually just shy of 1/4) inch wide. The size is 7 1/4. It is really a unique artistic piece of art.
