This is a vintage signed Castlecliff 2 strand bakelite bead necklace. It is very chunky. The necklace has a combination of large swirled or carved beads with large and small bakelite beads in between. The color varies from apple juice to striped rootbeer. The beads graduate in size but even the smallest beads on the end are large. The necklace measures 21 inches long including the extension. The largest beads measure 1 1/2 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide. The smallest bead on the end measures just under 1/2 an inch wide. So you can see just how bulky this necklace really is! The necklace has been tested and the beads do test positive for bakelite. Please see my other listings for a co-ordinating bangle bracelet. The necklace is in excellent condition.
