Breathtaking TRIFARI 1940 "Emperor Eugene" Pavé Rhinestone & Pearl Drop Necklace

Complete description to come. In excellent vintage condition, this remarkable necklace by Alfred Philippe is a variation on the classic Empress Eugenie line; I rechristened it in the masculine because it's entirely stone with no feminine flourishes of enamel. Condition is excellent; yes, I know some of you will say that the center pearl drop is missing, but there is no place where anything appears to be broken off, and I can only conclude that this is a variation on the variation, having only two dangly drops to begin with. Which, seeing as how this one's Emperor Eugene, is not altogether inappropriate! There may be one or two slightly grey stones to show the Emperor's age but that's about it.
