Silly me! I collect these necklaces and bracelets, and when I bought this one I didn't realize I already had it as part of a parure! It was one of those last-second bids ~ I discovered it at That Auction Site with less than 1 minute to go and blindly bought it. Paid a small fortune for it, too. But my blindness is your gain, so here's the prize: A rare Trifari floral enamel necklace in pristine condition if you don't count the goldtone loss on the chain leaving the underlying rhodium plate bare (almost ALL of them are like that so I don't even count it a flaw). But there isn't a single chip to the enamel, and all the original rhinestones still sparkle, and it's a very sought-after design, too. The necklace is fully adjustable up to 18" ~ just clip the original, thumb-thingyless spring-ring clasp to any link. While none of these necklaces is signed Trifari, they're identifiable by patents issued to Alfred Philippe, and in this case the patent number has been stamped on the back. I'm including the actual design patent so you can see for yourself.
